Pure Complexion formula is specifically designed to contribute to skin purity and to help balance oily skin. It includes Milk protein complex standardized to a minimum of 80% lactoferrin, which helps regulate skin oiliness and contributes to skin purity. In addition, Pure Complexion formula includes other vitamins and minerals supporting optimal skin health.
FUNCTIONS
Skin is covered by a very important layer known as the hydrolipidic film. This film covers the surface of the epidermis and is obtained from sebum secretion. This film is important to support skin hydration and skin texture, and is endowed with natural antibacterial properties. However, when produced in an excessive manner, sebum may lead to oily skin and is associated with various skin conditions.
Pure Complexion combines essential vitamins and active cofactors to support healthy sebum production. The presence of a lactoferrin-rich milk complex helps regulate skin oiliness. Furthermore, it is known that vitamin E is the most important liposoluble vitamin of the skin. In fact, vitamin E is brought to the skin solely via sebum secretion. Sebum is the vehicle for vitamin E to reach the skin. Appropriate intakes of vitamin E and healthy sebum secretion are perfect ways to protect against free radicals and maintain skin health. Pure Complexion also contains other factors (selenium, vitamin C)that together reinforce the defense barrier of the skin.

Pure Complexion delivers ingredients that help support the skin’s ability to fight infection. Zinc, a trace element, has been shown to come to the rescue when skin is damaged. Lactoferrin, a naturally occurring defense protein, can help fight microbial infection, including Propionibacterium acnes, a skin bacterium linked to the formation of acne. Vitamin E, selenium and zinc are also thought to help reduce inflammation.
Pure Complexion also contains a blend of known antioxidants, including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta carotene and the trace element selenium, which aim to neutralize free radicals before they can damage the skin. Vitamins C and E have also been shown to protect the skin against the damaging effects of sun exposure, which can lead to premature aging, and to enhance the synthesis and protection of collagen, which helps the skin maintain its elasticity.
SUGGESTED USE
2 capsules per day, with meals. For ages 12 and up. For best and longest-lasting effects, use Pure Complexion for at least 3 months.
SIDE EFFECTS
Rare side effects from aloe may include nausea or diarrhea. Barberry is contraindicated during pregnancy. Not to be taken by pregnant or lactating women.
