Simply put, the Functionalab Affiliate Program is a commission based system. You place our promotional links on your site which we provide you. When a customer or visitor to your site clicks on our link and makes a purchase of any of our products, you earn an 8% commission on the sale.
What does it cost to become a Functionalab Affiliate?
The program is absolutely free to join.
How do I become an affiliate of the program?
1. First read the Terms & Conditions
2. Fill out the application
3. Once approved, head over to the Commission Junction interface to get links and banners
4. Place links and banners on you site
Can I still join the Functionalab Affiliate Program if I do not have a website?
A website is required in order to make any sales by placing banners and links on your site. However, if you have an email newsletter which you can still promote Functionalab, exceptions can be made. Please be aware that you cannot send spam and that your email list must be opted-in.
HOW TO SET UP AFFILIATE LINKS?
Where do I get the links to use on my site?
We will provide all links and images through Commission Junction. Log into your Functionalab Affiliate account using the Commission Junction interface, where you will have access to all approved affiliate links. Be sure that to only use approved affiliate links through Commission Junction and nowhere else.
Am I allowed to modify any links or banners?
The answer is no. All links and banners are to be used as provided through Commission Junction. If you have any special requests, please contact the Functionalab affiliate team at: affiliates@functionalab.com.
I have several websites and want to link them all to Functionalab.
It is very important that you notify us so we can ensure that all of your sites are added to your account. We must also ensure that these sites meet the Terms & Conditions of our affiliate program.
Can I put the affiliate links in my email newsletters?
Yes, besides using our affiliate links on your website, you may also use them in your email newsletters. You would also use the same links provided in Commission Junction. As like on your site, you will receive commission of any sale that resulted from a click-through. However, it is prohibited to send unsolicited emails (spam). This would result in immediate termination of your affiliate account and you would forfeit any commissions generated.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
How often do I get paid?
Affiliates are paid on a monthly basis through Commission Junction after a review and approval process each month.
Is there a minimum amount that must be met in order to get paid?
You can be assured that there is no minimum amount. You will receive a commission no matter the size of an order or number of orders each month.
What happens if a return occurs on an order?
Should a customer return a product or an order within 30 days of placing it, your account will be debited for the commission earned and the purchase will be reversed.
Do visitors have to make a purchase as soon as they visit the site in order for me to receive credit?
When you send visitors to Functionalab, we automatically place a cookie on their computer which identifies you as the one who referred them to us. This cookie lasts for 25 days. If they make a purchase within the first 25 days, we still credit you for sending them to us. So long as you are still an active affiliate, you will receive your commissions for the purchases made by all these visitors.
What happens if someone deletes all the cookies on their machine? Do I get credit for them?
In this instance, though not likely, that someone deletes their cookies, we would not be able to track the source of the sale, and thus, cannot pay commissions on such sales.
How do I track products purchased through my affiliate links and are there any reporting tools?
Functionalab is proud to say that it has partnered with Commission Junction, which is the leading affiliate solution provider. With Commission Junction's technology, both Functionalab and you are able to track all impressions, clicks, and sales which have taken place through any of your affiliate links. This is based on the fact that the proper affiliate links are used.
